History
Leadership Menomonee Falls (LMF) established in
1989 as a program of the Menomonee Falls Chamber
of Commerce. LMF is one of more than 650
community leadership programs in the United States
and is a member of the National Association for
Community Leadership. Curriculum and other
program specifics are reviewed by the LMF Board of
Governors, whose members include program alumni
and community leaders.
Program
Leadership Menomonee Falls (LMF) is a dynamic professional and personal development program
focused on building future leaders within our
community. Offered by the Menomonee Falls
Chamber of Commerce, this powerful program
provides first-hand exposure to the inner workings of
our village as well as important skills training that
prepares participants for active community leadership
and enhanced management, communications and
team building abilities in the work place. Leadership
Menomonee Falls cultivates an unparalleled network
of professionals that promote and strengthen a
positive commercial climate by increasing a
commitment to volunteerism and encourages and
facilitates progressive and positive change. The
program focuses on leadership skills and community
awareness. Monthly interactive sessions and skills
training prepare participants for active business and
community leadership.

Outcomes achieved:
•Workshops on team building, strategic planning,
managing change, communication, and visionary
thinking build strong leadership characteristics.
•Interaction with local leaders in government,
law enforcement, business, human services, and
education to sharpen awareness regarding village
activities, opportunities and resources.
•Through our strong alumni and affiliations our
participants and sponsor will identify and build
strong personal and professional networking
opportunities.

Projects
Participants also work in teams to develop projects
